Europe is suffering record heatwaves and unprecedented wildfires. More than one thousand people have died this week, and tens of thousands more have been evacuated from their homes. French authorities have called it the "heat apocalypse."

This is the climate crisis playing out in real time. It's not too late to do something about it... but it will require urgent action from all of us who care about our planet.
We are at a crossroads. We can either accept record temperatures and intensifying climate disasters as the new normal...
... or we can resolve to organize, take on the fossil fuel industry, and fight for climate solutions together.
Even with these clear climate-driven disasters unfolding, Sen. Joe Manchin has said he won't support climate action. Despite record temperatures, President Biden is hesitating on declaring a climate emergency. So we must take action ourselves.
Thanks so much for all you do.
