Come volunteer with Team Cori!
Hey, Cori Bush team! This is an exciting week for the campaign! On Saturday we will be hosting a community Ugly Sweater party to celebrate our community and the holiday season. We'll need all hands on deck from our awesome volunteers to make this event a success!

Ugly Sweater Party:
Saturday, December 14th Ugly Sweater Party- 6pm-9pm: Join us at campaign headquarters for a free community Ugly Sweater Party! There will be a Kwanzaa celebration demonstration, free giveaways for the kids from Black Santa, music, holiday refreshments, and more! We'll need several volunteers to help us with decorating, collecting donations, registering visitors, set up and tear down, etc. Anything you can do to contribute will be greatly appreciated! We will also be collecting non-perishable food items in order to gift a holiday meal to twenty local families in need. If you know of a family who would benefit from our support this holiday season, please nominate them here.
Campaign Roles:
Paid Position: Finance Director - We have a paid opportunity available for a finance director beginning December 1st. For inquiries or to submit your resume please email Isra at [email protected].
Paid Position: Canvassers - We have paid canvassing opportunities starting as early as this week! Paid canvassing shifts are available Monday-Friday each week from 10am-1pm. This is a great opportunity to make some extra holiday cash! If you or someone you know would like to apply, please visit https://coribush.org/job-board.
Volunteer Coordinator - We are looking for a motivated volunteer to help manage volunteer involvement. The volunteer coordinator will work closely with the events team to inform volunteers of upcoming opportunities and to ensure each event is adequately staffed with passionate representatives of the Cori Bush Campaign. Town Hall/Listening Tour Committee - We are looking for five volunteers to assemble a Town Hall/Listening Tour Committee. This committee will work with the events team to nail down the dates, topics, and venues for monthly Town Hall/Listening Tour community meetings. If you are interested, please contact [email protected].
House Party Hosts - Are you interested in hosting a meet and greet for friends and family to meet Cori and learn about the campaign? Sign up for a December or January date by reaching out to Stephanie at [email protected].
This Week's Events:
Monday - Saturday Daily Canvasses - 10am-1pm: We're kicking our canvassing into high gear as we come to the end of 2019. We'll be canvassing Monday-Saturday every week. Come out and canvass with us—and bring a friend or two! We’ll start with a 15 minute training at campaign headquarters, then pair up and go knock on some doors. Come hydrated, with a charged phone and comfortable walking shoes, and the rest will be provided by the campaign. Sign up here.
Tuesday, December 10th Volunteers Calling Volunteers - 5-8:30pm: We need enthusiastic volunteers to meet at campaign headquarters (75 N Oaks Plaza, St. Louis, MO 63121) to make calls to those who have indicated they’d like to volunteer with the campaign. Show up when you can and stay as long as you’d like! Training and materials will be provided. Sign up here.
Wednesday, December 11th Virtual All Hands Volunteer Meeting- 6pm-7pm: Join us for a chat about campaign updates and upcoming initiatives from the comforts of your own home! Register here to attend via Zoom.
Live Phone Banking- 6pm-9pm: In order to win this election we need your help to contact voters everywhere. For those we can't reach at the door we will reach by phone. Postcard Writing Party at Urban Chestnut Brewery - 7pm-9pm: We need your help to write holiday postcards! Our campaign aims to reach 5000 voters by December 18th.
