Every day there seems to be yet another example of the difference between Abigail Spanberger and her challenger Yesli Vega.

Vega has criticized the Affordable Care Act and said that she would dismantle it, if voters give her the chance.

Here in Virginia, we know the Affordable Care Act to be life-saving legislation. Gutting the Affordable Care Act, like Yesli Vega plans to do, would remove protections for 1.3 million adults in Virginia with pre-existing conditions – which we absolutely cannot afford to do.

Congresswoman Spanberger has been fighting to lower healthcare costs for Virginians across the board, paying special attention to the cost of life saving prescription drugs like insulin.

Our Commonwealth deserves someone who will fight for them, not someone who wants to tear apart a decade of healthcare policy that Virginians have come to rely on.

It’s a refrain that’s as classic as any other for Yesli Vega – no proposal of an alternate plan, just a push to gut any governmental agency that is protecting Virginians. We need folks like you to chip in to defend the health and well-being of our neighbors.
