Friends —
I have about 15 minutes of free time in my schedule today. I know that doesn’t sound like a lot of time, but with a schedule like mine, I can assure you it’s a gift.
And while I know our campaign sends a lot of emails your way, I want to take a few of these minutes to tell you about my decision to run for Senate in the first place — and why your support today is so important to our success.
The truth is: When Gabby and I first started talking about running, we weren’t sure what to expect. We knew that Arizona needed new leadership in the Senate — someone who would always put the people of our state first, who was willing to work across the aisle to deliver real results, and who would prioritize building bridges between the two parties — not burning them down.
We also knew we had some friends who would help us out. But when you’re talking about such a big campaign, we realized we’d need support from a lot of people we hadn’t met yet.
You know the rest. We won in 2020 in large part because we ran the biggest grassroots campaign Arizona has ever seen.
But now we have a new mission: Re-election.
And we’ve got our work cut out for us. The stakes were high before, but after last month it’s more critical than ever that we win this race. Because the Senate is now the final defense against a national abortion ban in the United States.
And in Arizona, the candidate that Trump just endorsed against me wants to go even further than the Supreme Court. He’s called for a national ban on abortion.
I know times are tough, but we can’t give in now. We need to make sure a ban like that never happens. Which is why I have to ask:
Can you please add a contribution to our campaign and Sen. Jeanne Shaheen's before midnight? The amount you give isn’t as important as the number of donations we receive. Because it all adds up when we’re all chipping in.
If you've saved payment information with ActBlue Express, your donation will be split between Mark Kelly and Jeanne Shaheen and will go through immediately:

Thank you again. For everything you do.
