Today is the official filing deadline in the state of Texas, and I have some
good news, and some bad news. 

 

Good news: I’m on the ballot and I don’t plan on going anywhere. But, I have
competition. 

 

Bad news: The Democratic Party at the highest levels is trying to figure out
how to undermine me. They will raise money nationally to destroy my reputation
and spread lies about my record. You’ve seen their tactics with Trump,
Kavanaugh and anyone else that threatens their worldview.

 

You and I both know they’re not above doing it again.

 

Now I don’t mind competition, I thrive with it. But what I won’t stand for is
lies, I won’t let those go unanswered.
