If there’s one thing you need to know about me, it’s this: I love basketball.

Before I ever thought about running for office, I played professional basketball as a point guard. For those of you that aren’t huge basketball fans, the point guard drives the offense.

The mark of a good point guard is not how many points you score – it’s how many assists you make. It’s about being a leader who supports every member of the team. You have to be able to make split-second decisions and choose a play that allows your team to score and ultimately, win.

A strong point guard gets the assists to those who need it most – just like a strong Governor. I see the challenges our communities are facing and the opportunities before us. I’ve talked to families all across the state who are struggling with the rising cost of living. I’ve heard stories from local business owners who are still reeling from the pandemic.

Our campaign is committed to teamwork; that means no one gets left behind. We’re going to leverage all of the unique strengths of our diverse communities to come back stronger than before. But first, I need an assist as we ramp up this groundbreaking campaign for Governor so we can build a state that lifts our whole team up.
