Henry Cuellar — Trump’s favorite Democrat — just attacked Justice
Democrats and Jessica Cisneros!

In an interview on national television, Cuellar once again repeated
Republican talking points and tried to attack Justice Democrats by
insinuating we weren’t “Democrats” but “Justice Socialists” because we
fight for progressive policies.

Then Cuellar misled the audience about how often he’s voted with Trump;
the truth is that he voted with Trump 69% of the time before Democrats
took back the House last year — the exact time when we needed Democrats to
fight back.

Cuellar is feeling the heat. It’s crucial that we respond and show him
that the people are with us. When our small-dollar fundraising numbers go
up, it’s a sign of our movement’s strength.

It’s strange that someone would keep using Republican talking points in a
district that Hillary Clinton and Beto O’Rourke won by nearly 20 points.
Henry Cuellar doesn’t represent the will of the voters. His policy
positions are bought and paid for by Big Oil, the NRA, the Kochs, and
private prison corporations like GEO Group. Cuellar has let Republican
donors and corporate PACs buy his votes in Congress.

We need to beat Henry Cuellar on March 3rd, 2020 and Jessica Cisneros is
running the kind of grassroots campaign to do it. She’s fighting for big,
bold policies like Medicare for All, the Green New Deal, getting big money
out of politics, and ending mass deportations in order to match the scale
of the crises we’re facing. But she can’t do it alone — she needs our
financial support to compete.
