Dear team,
It's been exactly one month since the U.S. Supreme Court took away the constitutional right to abortion in the United States and anti-abortion politicians have continued in their efforts to enforce bans that would block access to essential reproductive health care. By overturning Roe v. Wade, the Court has allowed states to determine their own policies on abortion rights, without federal protections.
Wondering what abortion access looks like in your state?
Explore the Center for Reproductive Rights' interactive map, "After Roe Fell: Abortion Laws by State" which examines state laws, constitutions, and court decisions on abortion. Updated in real time, the map assigns each U.S. state, territory, and the District of Columbia to one of five categories—Expanded Access, Protected, Not Protected, Hostile, and Illegal—to mark current abortion policy.

We are working diligently to restore abortion rights, case by case, state by state, but we're facing a long fight ahead. Thank you for your support as we continue to build, enforce, and defend legal protections for reproductive rights around the world.
Onwards,
Center for Reproductive Rights
