Hey friend – there are dozens of reasons to chip in $5 to support Jim and his fight to keep CT-04 blue, but we’ll start with 5:

1. Jim is running to codify Roe at the federal level. If Democrats expand their majorities, we can permanently protect reproductive rights for all.


2. Connecticut is competitive. When Jim first ran for Congress, he won by less than four points, and this year two of Connecticut’s five Congressional districts are among the most competitive in the entire country.


3. Election forecasters are predicting Republicans could take control of the House. We need to do everything we can to protect our majority so Jim can continue fighting against attacks on our rights, and reach bipartisan solutions to address gun violence, and rising prices.


4. Jim isn’t your average Congressman and he’s not running a typical campaign either. He’s a beekeeper and self-proclaimed policy nerd who rides his bicycle across Connecticut to hear directly from the people who sent him to Washington.


5. Grassroots supporters are a critical component of our campaign strategy. If we’re going to enter the final stretch of this election on a high note, it’s going to be because supporters like you chipped in a few dollars at a time to emails like these.
