HOWDY !

Dr. Stephanie Hand is running against Tariq Bokhari in District 6, one
of the two Republicans on Charlotte City Council. We’re going to be
phone banking for Dr. Hand to help flip that vital seat blue for
Charlotte.

Here are the stakes of this race:

* Dr. Hand is running against one of the only two incumbent
Republicans, Tariq Bokhari. 
* This seat is flippable in our favor. All we have to do is call into
Charlotte and get people to the polls.
* Flipping this seat will mean more equity for Charlotteans and one
more Democrat that’s going to fight for every day North Carolinians.

We’ve got one shot to get this right. With the team we have here at
YDNC, I know we can make these calls and flip this seat blue. 

HERE IS WHAT YOU NEED TO DO:

* Send this email to 5 of your friends and tell them to put it in
their calendar to phone bank for Dr. Hand on Monday and Tuesday,
anytime between 1pm and 7pm.
* Training Sessions will be at 1pm, 3pm, and 5pm. (At the top of the
hour)
* You can join anytime during 1pm-7pm to phone bank for Dr. Hand, or
you can phone bank the whole time! 

The phone bank will be held virtually via Zoom-- The Zoom link will be
sent over in a follow-up email Monday morning. So make sure you keep
your eyes peeled for that, and send that to your 5 friends as well!
