Team,
In April, we added Jevin Hodge (AZ-01) and Laura Gillen (NY-04) to our Candidate Watch List, and today, we’re proud to announce our official endorsement of both of their campaigns for Congress!

Can you pitch in $5 or more immediately to help us send backup to NewDem endorsed candidates running in must-win districts across the country?

Jevin Hodge is a true public servant, and leads the Booker T. Washington Child Development Center. In Congress, Jevin plans to fight for the expansion of affordable health care, lowering drug prescriptions, and building an economy that works for all Arizonians. He’s been put on the DCCC’s Red To Blue List, which means he’s one of the candidates most likely to pick up a seat for Democrats this November.
Laura Gillen, a former Supervisor of the Town of Hempstead, was the first Democrat elected there in more than a century. Preparing and administering her town's budgets, Laura was recognized for instituting tight fiscal controls and passing the town’s first multi-year capital spending plan. In Congress, she will prioritize bringing down costs for families, safeguarding reproductive rights, and advocating for common sense gun legislation. She is running in a must-win open seat currently held by NewDem Rep. Kathleen Rice, who has endorsed Laura to succeed her.
