USMCA Tentative Deal Announced

The latest media reports indicate that the Democrats and White House have reached a tentative agreement on the United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA). Official announcements have yet to happen, but labor leaders, Rep. Pelosi, and Mexican officials have apparently ironed out their differences.

With the Christmas season upon us and the New Year rapidly approaching, we have limited time to generate the needed pressure to stop the agreement in Congress. Obviously, the other side knows this and will use this to their advantage. However, depending on the bureaucracy hurdles and the appetite for pre-Christmas work in Congress, the vote may be pushed into early 2020. Let’s not forget Congress still needs to pass funding to keep itself open, as well as have time for the political theater known as impeachment.

So as 2019 winds down, we urge you to continue to use the USMCA Action Tools to help generate increased pressure on Congress and President Trump to stop the USMCA. Even at this late hour, many in Congress are blissfully ignorant of the dangers to American sovereignty in the USMCA. Please continue to contact members of Congress via our Legislative Action Alerts, visit them in their home district offices, and tweet at members of Congress using Twitter.

Stop the Climate Change Agenda
Even though the UN Climate Change Conference (COP25) launched last week in Madrid, Spain, two of our New American staff touched down on Spanish soil over the weekend (usually the second week of these UN conferences is when things actually get done, so we usually skip the first week). They will be providing updates to the latest alarmist activity until the end of the conference on Saturday, December 14th.

You can see their ongoing coverage at our COP 25 Conference web page. Also to learn more about the Climate Change scam, check out our Action Tools to see our latest videos and articles about this topic. Then please tell Congress and President Trump to stop the climate change scam for world government.

Recruiting
Thanks so much for your ongoing recruiting efforts! This year saw a lot of growth in many areas. As we look forward to the challenges coming up in 2020, we urge you to continue the staples of "Birching:"

Be informed and Inform Others; Read and share The New American Magazine, the JBS Bulletin and any tools or articles you like at JBS.org or thenewamerican.com.

Host Events and Attend Community Events: Have your chapter host speaker events, monthly information meetings and set up JBS book tables at street fairs, gun shows, and other community events which all result in educating attendees.

Take Action: Respond to Bulletin Action Summaries and Legislative Action Alerts by contacting federal and state elected officials.

Distribute the Freedom Index: Hold your congressman and senators accountable to the Constitution by distributing the Freedom Index to voters in your area.

Make the Ask!: Most importantly, in the process of Birching, always ask prospects to apply for membership. With more pullers at the oars, our work load is lessened aboard the Birch boat, and our influence and reach grows even more so!

Analysis Behind the News

The Impeachment Words that Will Haunt Dems

"The President ... sought foreign assistance in elections.”  Those words from House Judiciary Chair Jerry Nadler may come back to haunt the Democrats in 2020.

Rep. Nadler is using that accusation as the basis for impeachment proceedings based on hearsay from a phone call that President Trump had with his counterpart from the Ukraine.

But with the release of today’s 400-page Inspector General’s report of the FBI’s investigation into Trump, this may give Trump the ammo he needs to wage quite the war on corruption during a Senate trial.

We’ll explore this in this episode of Analysis Behind the News.

Straight Talk
COP25: Climate Summit’s Real Agenda

Global warming supporters claim the UN COP25 summit in Madrid is about saving the planet, while climate sensation Greta Thunberg and colleagues claim that our patriarchal system of oppression has caused this crisis and must be dismantled.

Find out what the United Nations agenda really is on this week’s Straight Talk.

Dr. Duke Show

This week Dr. Duke discusses how today's Common Core graduates are the worst-prepared in the 15 years.

Plus, a student in Wisconsin makes a ridiculous claim about white privilege, requiring a doctor’s note for college students is now racist, and new curriculum tells teachers to ‘resist’ concerned parents.

All of this on the Dr. Duke Show.
