The past month has been difficult, to say the least.

The Supreme Court, enabled by extreme, anti-choice politicians, overturned Roe v. Wade, making half of America's population second-class citizens.

This is a dark moment for our democracy. For the first time in our country's history, a generation of American women have fewer rights than their mothers did.

And make no mistake, this is just the beginning. Mitch McConnell has made it clear that if he takes back Senate control, he will push to ban abortion nationwide.

The danger now facing women and our democracy is very real.

But like the women of the suffragist movement who came before us, we must keep fighting. And that fight starts with the midterm elections – when a woman's fundamental freedom will be on the ballot.

With the Senate split 50-50, this race is the only thing standing in the way of anti-choice extremists implementing a national abortion ban.

I'm doing everything in my power to protect the fundamental right to abortion. But I need your help to keep my extremist opponents from retaking the Senate majority.

So please, if you can, chip in $3 to defend our Senate majority and stop a national abortion ban.
