An important trade deal is being held up in Congress because House Democrats are obsessing over impeaching President Trump instead of fighting for Upstate New York.

The United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA) would help level the playing field for our state’s agriculture industry. Our district is suffering while Anthony Brindisi and the other members of the radical Left are too busy focusing on their partisan attacks on the president.

Upstate New York’s small businesses are under attack from foreign competitors. Without the USMCA: 

• New York’s dairy farmers will lose access to Canada’s market, and be forced to compete with their unfair milk pricing standards
• New York’s auto workers will have to compete with cheap labor from Mexico where the typical worker earns only $2 to $3 an hour
• New York manufacturers could be forced to pay a minimum of $192 million to $1.5 billion in extra taxes when exporting to Canada and Mexico
• The U.S. will lose approximately 176,000 new jobs

We need to help them compete in the world market and continue to fight for Upstate New York’s small business community.
