On Monday, three accomplished Israeli journalists from across the
political spectrum shared their diverse perspectives on the issues
that will be top of mind for Israelis when they head to the ballot box
in October.
In case you missed it, or want to share it with family and friends,

CIJA is encouraged to see progress in several cases in Montreal and
Toronto involving antisemitic crimes, including assault and acts of
vandalism.
In Montreal,
police have made an arrest in connection with an incident on May 5,
where two young men assaulted a Jewish man on the street following a
rally celebrating Israel’s independence. In Toronto, police arrested a
man after an investigation into a hate-motivated graffiti near York
University and another for allegedly vandalizing
a Toronto art installation with antisemitic graffiti.
Hate and antisemitism pose dangers to all Canadians. We will
continue to work with law enforcement to educate them about
antisemitism so that they are better equipped to identify and
investigate incidents like these.
