DACA -- Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals -- is an Obama-era program that protects DREAMers from being deported to countries that they do not call home. This vital program is now before the Supreme Court.
President Trump’s attorney general has called the program “illegal” and “unconstitutional,” and just last month Solicitor General Noel Francisco, one of the Trump lawyers on the case, stated that the administration has decided to shut down the program.
If Congress fails to act now, the fate of more than 670,000 immigrants rests in the hands of Donald Trump. We CANNOT let that happen.
