This week, the House of Representatives voted to codify the rights to same-sex marriage, interracial marriage, and contraception access. Republicans went on the record with where they stand.
Only ONE Republican legislator from Wisconsin voted for marriage equality. NONE voted to secure contraception access.
No government body and no politician should have control over who we love or how we control our reproductive futures.

John, one of my sons, Kevin, is gay. I am furious that Republicans and right-wing judges would deny his right to marry whoever he loves.
I also have an adult daughter and a young granddaughter. They deserve the ability to plan if and when they want to have children - but if Republican legislators start banning contraception, that part of their future could be out of their hands.
So much is on the line in our midterm elections, and Wisconsinites deserve a representative they can count on to vote to DEFEND our rights. My insurrectionist GOP opponent, Derrick Van Orden, is anti-woman, anti-LGBTQ+, and wrong for our state. He would support Republicans’ most radical policies - including attacking marriage equality and contraception access.
