Friend,

It’s been a busy few months on the campaign trail, so I wanted to take a moment and give you a quick update from HQ.

From the start, this campaign has been about giving Orange County the voice in Congress we deserve. We’ve gotten a taste of how dangerous the Republicans’ agenda can be if they take the House. Part of our job over the next few months is to hear from and speak to the voters of this community about how our government can better serve the people.

There’s a lot of unproductive noise coming from Washington and on cable news. It’s my hope that our campaign can cut through the distractions and get to the core of what needs to be done on the big issues.

As always, I can’t thank you enough for your support, and I hope you enjoy the latest pictures from the campaign trail.

– Jay

Thanks to our fantastic volunteers, we’ve been spending weekends hitting the pavement and knocking on doors sharing our vision for CA-45 that works for everyone. These are the best days on the campaign trail because I get to hear directly from voters on what issues are most important to them!

Earlier this month, I had the pleasure to meet part of the Nguyen family that has kept Thành Mỹ Restaurant open for 43 years. I grew up helping with my family’s small business and am a small business owner myself. In Congress, I will help small businesses get the resources they need to stay open.

I stopped by the Albert E Schwab - American Legion Post 555 in Midway City. The more time I spend talking with fellow veterans, the more clear it becomes that we need a VA Medical Center in Orange County. Veterans shouldn’t have to jump through hoops to get quality care.

It was nice to be back on base this month to watch fireworks with the family at Joint Forces Training Base Los Alamitos. I drilled there for nine years, but this visit is already my favorite memory on base.

And lastly, it was a blast being out with Team Jay at OC Pride!

Running a grassroots campaign in a district as large and diverse as ours can get expensive. While our opponent can depend upon PAC money from far-right special interests, we depend on support from individual donors like you.

If you can, help keep our outreach program going by chipping in a donation of $3 today.

Thanks for your support!

Jay
