Friend,

We found out this weekend that Joni Ernst and Fox News don't like our new TV ad.

I guess exposing Joni as an NRA operative must have made her worried.

This past Sunday, I hoped to share my plans for our future and my concerns with Joni's leadership. But instead of allowing me to communicate with viewers, Fox News decided to turn the interview into a circus -- clearly demonstrating they feel threatened by our campaign.

They know Iowans are hungry for change and that our campaign is ready to deliver it.

We can't stop standing up to Joni and the NRA now -- can you chip in $5 or more to help us fight against Joni and her dark money, Fox News, and the Republican machine?

If you've saved your payment information with ActBlue Express, your donation will go through immediately:

We're not too surprised that Fox News came to Joni's defense. That's what happens when you speak truth to power -- power fights back.

The folks over at Fox News are comfortable ascribing the deaths of thousands of innocents to anything but guns and poor government oversight, and they've made it their mission to protect the NRA and to provide a veil of ignorance for Republican leadership to duck under.

I refuse to let that continue. Joni Ernst and Mitch McConnell are culpable, they've resisted universal background checks, bans on extended magazines and bump stocks for years. Fox News might not hold them accountable, but our campaign sure will.

Which is why we need your help. We're about to take on the Republican machine, and it won't be easy. Chip in $5 to help us keep up the good fight?

Thanks,

Eddie Mauro
