The January 6th Committee just wrapped up their latest televised hearing. After delivering so much critical information about the Capitol insurrection, the committee is continuing hearings later this year.

The information we learn in these hearings is critical to our work at the DLCC. We’ve already learned of Trump’s failed attempts to get Republican state legislators to overturn the 2020 election results in states like Arizona and Pennsylvania. Over 600 state Republicans were complicit in advancing Trump’s Big Lie, whether they were at the “Stop the Steal” rally on that day or through baseless election audits.

So the work of the January 6th Committee doesn’t just affect Trump or Republican congressmen and senators – these findings will help us hold state Republicans accountable too.
