Last month, many of you rushed to support my campaign and helped power our grassroots movement to unseat Senator Lindsey Graham. I want to say thank you. Because of people like you, we hit our goal for November to continue spreading our message throughout South Carolina.
But President Donald Trump and his right-wing donors are watching our campaign closely and are devoting a lot of time to fundraising for his allies in the Senate.
That's why Graham was able to raise $3.29 million in the third quarter of this year -- the most raised in a single quarter by any candidate in South Carolina's history. I don't mean to scare you, in fact, I want to do the opposite.
Graham has turned his back on the folks here in South Carolina, and instead fought to keep himself in Washington. So I'm running for one simple reason: to bring hope back to the people of South Carolina.
We can send Graham packing, but it’s not going to be easy. He has Trump and wealthy donors rallying behind him, but we have all of you.
Trump and Graham know the road to taking back the Senate runs right through South Carolina. They will do anything to defeat us, but we can work harder. Help us flip South Carolina blue, please pitch in $5 or whatever you can right now.
Thank you again for your commitment to elect and empower Black leaders like me. I know how grateful I am for your support.
Thanks,
Jaime Harrison
