Dear John,
Mike Flood couldn’t even make it through his first day without bending to the “one-party-rule” he so strongly railed against. Take a look:
Folks, this was a bipartisan bill supported by 43 Republicans and endorsed by the National Sheriff’s Association, the Major Cities Chiefs Associations, the National Association of Police Organizations, the Fraternal Order of Police (FOP), the National Police Foundation, and the National District Attorneys Association.
As the candidate endorsed by the police union, Flood’s vote should’ve been a no-brainer. Instead, he chose to turn his back on the people of our nation so he could get a few brownie points with his D.C. party bosses.
In this epidemic of mass shootings, it is unimaginable that anyone would oppose legislation to alert people about an active shooter in their vicinity. But John, this vote perfectly illustrates the difference between Mike Flood and Patty Pansing Brooks.
In his first day of office, our congressman has already proven that he is emblematic of exactly everything wrong with our district’s previous leadership. If you’re ready to put power back into the hands of Nebraska voters, please chip in today to support Patty’s campaign for Congress:
