Hi Friend,

We’re just 24 hours from tomorrow’s “Creating a Culture of Care” livestream event, and I’m so excited for the discussion. As part of this interactive livestream, you would have the opportunity to interact with people who work with trauma and communities to heal, bringing together community wisdom, disrupting systematic oppression, and leading innovative solutions in an urgent way.

In schools across the country, trauma affects students’ brains and bodies, while impacting their ability to learn, connect, and grow. Engaging community members in a meaningful conversation on trauma is an important step in tackling this challenge. That’s why I’m glad to be a part of this week’s discussion on trauma-informed practices and creating a culture of care.
