John, this is Peggy Wood, Maggie's mother.

I will never forget where I was when Roe v. Wade was decided 50 years ago – and I know I will never forget the day it was overturned.

Long before and long since I served on the state board of my local Planned Parenthood, I have been deeply committed to protecting reproductive freedom. And my daughter shares that commitment.

But the GOP is stripping us of our bodily autonomy and our constitutional rights – and they will not stop. So we have to do everything we can to keep my daughter Maggie in the Senate.

I've been so proud to watch Maggie fight in the Senate to lower prescription drug costs, defend reproductive rights, and support families just like yours and ours. But I know that the GOP is watching Maggie closely and is ready to spend anything they can to take this seat – and work toward a national ban on abortion.
