This past weekend, we had over 175 volunteers and supporters participate in our most recent Weekend of Action - knocking doors, making calls and showing up in Cherokee, Clay, Transylvania and Buncombe counties.

The numbers are impressive, but I think what really struck Jasmine, our supporters, and our whole team was the energy.

I’ve been working on and leading campaigns full-time for the last seven plus years, and there is always a moment on winning races where something routine starts to feel incredibly special. It is as if, all of a sudden, there is an unspoken agreement between everyone on the team - from the voters to the supporters to the staff to the candidate, that we are all in to win this, together.

That’s what it felt like last weekend.

Our whole team is fired up, and the voters are responding to our message. We just need the resources to be able to keep pushing.

The folks who joined us this weekend – ranging from ages six to 85 – made clear that every generation knows what’s at stake across Western NC.

With over 1,500 voter contacts made on Saturday in NC-11, we’re proving that having conversations person to person is what’s going to carry us to victory.

Our success this weekend and throughout the entire summer so far is the result of two things:

1.) The resources we’ve invested into organizing thanks to your grassroots contributions.

2.) The tremendous grassroots energy coming from people all across the district from all walks of life who see their fundamental rights under threat by extremists like Chuck Edwards.
