Last night’s primetime January 6 hearing confirmed what we've all suspected.

As Republican Congressman Adam Kinzinger said, “President Trump didn’t fail to act. He chose not to act… Within minutes of stepping off the Ellipse stage, Trump knew about the violent attack on the Capitol. From the comfort of his dining room, he watched [Fox] on TV as the attack escalated.”

Those 187 minutes included Vice President Mike Pence's Secret Service agents fearing for their lives, calling their families to say goodbye. The hearing was gripping, horrifying, and it proved (again) that Trump intended it all to happen.

The January 6th Committee has done its job to expose Trump's seditious crimes. Now it's time for AG Merrick Garland to do his.
