John, we are laser-focused on Virginia, but we couldn’t ignore this story from next door.

This is what happens when we take our eye off the ball. Right-wing radicals are slithering into state government positions, and Michael Peroutka could be next in Maryland.

John, this is too close to home. We need to make sure that Virginia doesn’t fall to reactionaries like him. Will you donate $5 to our campaign so we can bolster Virginia’s progressive majority?

Peroutka is a Christian nationalist who opposes abortion and marriage equality, and even called public education a communist plot.

Maryland is terrifyingly close to Virginia, both geographically and demographically. This could happen here if we don’t nip it in the bud now.

“Moderate” Republicans, like Gov. Youngkin, are content to sit back and watch extremists overtake their party. They are now one and the same, and we are the only ones who can protect our progress. Can you rush a $5 donation to help us fortify our Democratic majority in the Virginia Senate?
