John,

Special Counsel Robert Mueller testified before the House today and one thing is absolutely clear from his report and testimony: "The Russian government interfered in the 2016 presidential election in sweeping and systematic fashion."

And yesterday, FBI Director Wray stated, "The Russians are absolutely intent on trying to interfere with our elections."

It's clear that we must take action to protect the integrity of our democracy ahead of the 2020 elections, but Majority Leader Mitch McConnell continues to block our attempts to secure our elections.

Add your name now: Leader McConnell must act to protect our elections from future foreign interference.

There are common-sense steps we can take to secure our elections, like paper ballot trails and post-election audits. We can require campaigns to report any communications they receive from a foreign government.

We have bipartisan support for protective and funding measures that would easily pass if they came to the Senate floor, but Leader McConnell is standing in the way. Instead, he'd rather risk an electoral outcome that doesn't reflect our democratic process than tackle this issue.

Join me: add your name now to urge Leader McConnell to bring election protection legislation to a vote.

My best,
