The Strategic Petroleum Reserve is Dangerously Low The Strategic Petroleum Reserve has dipped to its lowest level since 1986. This is a huge national security risk. Read more HERE Rising Costs are Hurting the Agriculture Industry As energy and input costs remain high for America's ag industry, it's vital that the House passes the Reducing Farm Input Costs & Barriers to Domestic Production Act to provide relief and certainty to Kansas farmers. Kansas farmers are facing the highest input costs in American history. I joined my fellow Kansans, Senator Marshall and Rep. Mann, to urge President Biden to waive import duties on fertilizer. Read more: Biden Continues his War on American Energy President Biden didn't have to travel over 13,000 miles to Saudi Arabia to beg a dictator to increase oil production. Biden's Border Crisis Over 3,000,000 illegal immigrants have attempted to cross our southern border since Joe Biden took office. Read more: Over 200,000 illegal immigrants attempted to cross our southern border in June. Since President Biden took office, 3.1 MILLION illegal immigrants have been apprehended—that's not including the 800,000+ "got-a-ways" who evaded law enforcement. Border security = national security. Read more HERE Inflation is Devastating Kansas Families Inflation is a tax on ALL Kansans and continues to cost families over $400 a month. I joined KZRG this week to discuss the historic June inflation numbers and what Congress needs to do to fix this economic crisis. Listen HERE Inflation is crushing folks across our country. According to the Joint Economic Committee, Kansas families paid an extra $725 on average last month to keep up with the historic inflation levels. Americans are paying the price for Democrats’ reckless economic policies. Gas Prices are Still at Historic Highs Why is the White House bragging that gas is at $4.45 per gallon nationwide? Kansans are still paying historic prices to fill up their tanks. Gas in Topeka was $2.25 per gallon when President Biden took office. It’s time to prioritize American energy. Celebrating the Anniversary of the Moon Landing 53 years ago this week, the Apollo 11 mission successfully landed on the moon and showed our nation that anything is possible.
