Republicans have shown they don’t respect voting rights, democracy, or the rule of law. And now, they’re ready to continue their attacks on Medicare and Social Security.

Republican leaders in both the U.S. House and Senate recently released their plans to take over Congress and give more tax handouts to the wealthiest Americans and largest corporations, while implementing a middle-class tax increase on 32.4% of Oregonians!

The Republican plan would increase middle-class families’ taxes by nearly $1,500 and take $100 billion out of the hands of middle-class families each year.

Shockingly, Republicans also plan to end Medicare and Social Security as we know it in just 5 years!

The only way we stop this attack is by electing Democrats to the Senate, like Oregon’s Ron Wyden, who will support tax cuts for the middle class and fight to make sure the super wealthy and large corporations pay their fair share, while defending and protecting Medicare and Social Security.

The Democratic Party of Oregon knows how to win tough elections and has already conducted our first in-person door-to-door canvasses! We’re ramping up and ready to roll - recruiting volunteers every day to talk with our neighbors, one-on-one, about what’s at stake and why it’s so critical that they vote.

We’re mobilizing thousands of volunteers and organizing a massive get-out-the-vote effort to elect Democrats up and down the ballot, but we need your help. If we all do our part, we’ll protect middle-class families , Medicare, and Social Security.
