Hi John!

We’re Grace and Riley – the final two Scanlon for Congress Democracy Summer Fellows! Before we get to share our news, we wanted to share a little about our experience during the Democracy Summer fellowship.

We were asked where we imagine ourselves in five years and this was one of the more difficult answers for us, and the other fellows. As current and prospective college students, thinking even 5 years down the road feels unpredictable and a little scary. But we gave it a shot anyway! Here’s what we had to say:

Sometimes our political landscape appears overwhelmed with injustice and it's hard to imagine what it will be like after we graduate and as we become young professionals. But honestly, that doesn’t stop us. While the future is uncertain, we are proud and excited to be taking an active role in democracy every step of the way.

And now for the long awaited news — we have Mary Gay yard signs in stock and ready for delivery! Do you want to support Scanlon for Congress? Let us know and we will deliver it straight to you!

We hope you enjoyed hearing from us and the rest of the Scanlon for Congress Democracy Summer Fellows over the past week! We had a blast and learned a lot!

Thanks!

Grace and Riley
