John, here’s a fun fact you may not know about Kevin McCarthy:

Kevin McCarthy lives just a few streets from me -- his kids actually went to high school with mine. 

It’s easy to buy into McCarthy’s bigshot persona when you see him shaking hands with Donald Trump, banging the Speaker’s gavel, or giving interviews on TV. 

But to me, he’s just a neighbor. I’m not intimidated by him. If I’m being honest, it’s hard for me even to respect the guy when I see his blatant disregard for the Central Valley community he “represents”.

McCarthy has been in office for 15 years, and nothing seems to change for struggling families.

At the public school where I teach, 88% of my students receive free or reduced lunch. Of those students, 13% are homeless. These are the faces and hearts I am fighting for!

Our Central Valley community is being left behind while Kevin McCarthy defends Trump and jockeys for a leadership position. He’s not interested in improving the Central Valley. He’s in this race for his own political benefit. 

We deserve better, and that starts with unseating Kevin McCarthy:
