Dear John,

I’m excited to be sitting down with climate activist Wawa Gatheru where we’ll be discussing everything from the upcoming midterm elections to the future of climate action. Wawa Gatheru is the founder of Black Girl Environmentalist, an intergenerational environmental justice community.

Gatheru is also a 2022 Rhodes Scholar, Activist Board Chair of the Environmental Media Association, and has been featured in VICE, the Huffington Post, Forbes, Business Insider, and more.

Here at EDF Action, we’re gearing up for the midterms, and we know climate-motivated voters like you have a lot of questions, including:

“How can we protect our climate champions in Congress?”
“How will climate change factor into candidates’ platforms?”
“Given the news, what is the path forward on climate action?
“What can I do to help?"

With all these big questions swirling, we wanted to make sure you had an opportunity to hear directly from me and Wawa for a virtual discussion.

When: Tuesday, July 26th
Time: 7pm EST
Where: Online!

The November midterm election will help determine the path we take over the next two years of climate action. That’s why it’s incredibly important for our members to know what’s at stake and how we can show up to elect climate champions . We will analyze the current state of climate leadership in America, movement on President Biden’s climate agenda and how it will shape the narrative of this year’s election.

It sure doesn’t feel like it now, but November is just around the corner! Don’t miss this opportunity to tune in and be ahead of the curve. Sign up today!

We hope you can join us!

David
