Friend, this is DESPICABLE. Just last week, 168 Republicans voted against a bipartisan bill that could save children from active shooter situations. The majority of Americans believe Congress needs to do more to address gun violence in our country, but the sad truth is that GOP extremists are too afraid of the gun lobby to take a stand.

The good news is that the bipartisan bill passed the House. But the bad news is that this bill and other legislation like it face an uphill battle in the Senate, where Mitch McConnell and his minions stand in the way of meaningful reform.

We believe Congress needs to act to stop gun violence before more lives are lost, so we're running an OFFICIAL poll to prove that Americans are in favor of gun violence prevention.
