Yesterday, I testified to Congress about the very real threats to our democracy and election officials proliferated by election conspiracy theories.

Since 2020, lies and misinformation about our elections and the people who run them have proliferated to an unprecedented degree. They haven't produced a shred of evidence to support their claims. Nonetheless, they've caused irreparable damage to our democracy by sowing doubt and mistrust in our elections, which have manifested into threats against the people that run them.

I will not allow our hard-working election officials to be scared away from doing their job. I told the Committee about my experience because I am committed to protecting our election workers and securing our elections from this interference.
