Finance report season doesn’t mean much to most people, friend. But for finance nerds like me, it’s a treasure trove of information.

And going through the reports from this quarter, one thing stands out – everyday Iowans are ready for Democrats to lead.

Democratic candidates up and down the ticket have folks like you, friend, donating small amounts, outraising the Republican candidates who are getting big checks from corporations and PACs.

Take the Iowa Democratic Party for example – our average donation is $24.30.

While a $25 donation doesn’t seem like a lot, combine that with the hundreds and thousands of Iowans donating $25. It adds up! And every donation funds a tank of gas, snacks and drinks for canvassers, and toilet paper for field offices.
