When some presidential debate moderators refused to ask a single
question about the climate crisis, you jumped into action.

EDF Action supporters flooded the sponsors of the next debate -
MSNBC and the Washington Post - with demands for a climate
question, and even sent in their own suggestions just to make sure the
message got through.

And we know it worked - because when Rachel Maddow asked the
candidates about the climate crisis, she specifically said it was
because of thousands of questions sent in by the audience.

Let's do it again, and make sure that no other presidential
debate without mention of the climate crisis.

Tell Politico and PBS: Ask the climate question!

We sent MSNBC and The Washington Post 12,334 messages demanding a
climate question - an average response for one of our emails.

And of those, 1,200 were actually personalized by our activists
- including a specific question they wanted the moderators to ask.

The single best way to make sure the moderators hear you is to edit
the message we provided to include your own question - and if
you're struggling to think of one, we've got some
suggestions:

* How do you plan to address the fact that the climate crisis
disproportionately affects low-income communities and people of
color?
* We know we can't avoid all of the effects of the climate
crisis. What steps will you take to ensure America is resilient
enough to weather what we can't ward off?
* What steps will you take to ensure we're not putting any
more pollution into the atmosphere than we can remove by 2050 at
the latest - a deadline we need to hit in order to avoid a
climate catastrophe?

Let's get louder - and make sure the moderators get the message.

Take action today, and help us send them 20,000 calls for the climate
question!
