Planned Parenthood has been one of the most effective and preeminent leaders in the reproductive justice movement. For decades Planned Parenthood has worked to protect abortion access and the reproductive health and well-being of communities across the country, including right here in CA-27. That mission is more urgent now more than ever.
In fact, just today, Mike Garcia voted against the health and privacy of his constituents by voting against the Right to Contraception Act. His extremist beliefs have no business regulating our bodies.
I'm proud to stand with Planned Parenthood as we continue the fight to codify Roe v. Wade in Congress and to ensure every single person has the right to full control and autonomy over their bodies, no matter where they live or how they identify.
