Dear Friend of PRI:

Have you heard the news?

PRI has been nominated for two prestigious national awards - and we need your help to win!

State Policy Network has recognized PRI with nominations for two awards, recognizing our successes in:
* Stopping destructive policies from Sacramento that would take away our freedoms, and
* Promoting market-based reforms that would improve the quality of life for all Californians.

Cast your vote today to help PRI bring the trophies home!

Promoting free-market environmental policies and educational freedom
------------------------------------------------------------
PRI’s team is a Communications Excellence Award nominee for receiving a “bold brand boost” from two major items in our policy agenda – showing how market-based reforms can expand school choice options (through Lance Izumi’s book The Homeschool Boom), and how reforming state environmental regulations could remove roadblocks adding time and expense to housing, school, infrastructure and climate change projects (through The CEQA Gauntlet study).
Stopping Sacramento single-payer health care legislation
------------------------------------------------------------
PRI President, CEO, and Thomas W. Smith Fellow in Health Care Policy Sally C. Pipes is a Bob Williams Award finalist for securing the year’s “biggest win.” Through op-eds, media interviews, speeches, and meetings with lawmakers, Pipes educated Californians what a single-payer health care scheme would mean for them – and legislators listened!
Your votes will be critical to helping PRI bring home these important honors!
Voting runs from July 21 through August 5.

Anyone can vote for PRI in the Communications Excellence Awards by clicking this link ([link removed]) , while voting for the Bob Williams Awards is restricted to registered attendees of the SPN Annual Meeting.

Awards will be handed out at the SPN Annual Meeting in Atlanta in September.

Thanks in advance for your help in voting for PRI for these important awards!

Sincerely

Ben Smithwick
Vice President, Development
