In case you missed it, John: a federal court just ruled that Georgia's abortion ban can go into effect.
It's never been more important to elect pro-choice leaders in our state who will protect people's rights and fight back against the tide of extremist legislation. And flipping the Attorney General's office will go a long way toward changing things in Georgia.
We've set a 24-hour grassroots goal of $10,000 for Jen, and we need 36 more supporters to pitch in today in order to be on pace for it. So John, can you donate $10 — or whatever you can — right now?

John,
Yesterday, a federal court ruled that HB 481 — which will ban abortions in Georgia after six weeks of pregnancy — can take effect.
This wasn't unexpected after Roe v. Wade was overturned, but this news is still hard to take. This law will hurt healthcare providers and working-class families. It's going to open the door for unjust prosecutions of women. And it absolutely violates the right to privacy provided within the Georgia State Constitution.
If I'm elected Attorney General, I'll use the full power of my office to challenge this law on constitutional grounds. I'll do everything I can to prevent unfair sentences and charges against women who seek to control their reproductive health.
Chris Carr will do none of this. He was eager to see HB 481 become the law of our state and asked the 11th Circuit Court to rule on it mere hours after Roe v. Wade fell (and he had publicly asked the Supreme Court to strike down Roe).
It's time we held Carr accountable for his actions in support of a law that violates the rights of his constituents. We need to raise $10,000 from grassroots supporters in the next 24 hours to send a message that we can defeat him in November. Please pitch in $10 right away →
