Friend, We are running out of time! This is your last chance to have your say on Nanaia Mahuta’s undemocratic Three Waters Bill before MPs consider it at Select Committee. I'm just out of a Board meeting where I found out that we are just short of our target of 50,000 submissions. We have only a few hours left to get there! We must get to 50,000 if we are to show the media and the Wellington-elite that New Zealanders will have none of Nanaia Mahuta’s Three Waters co-governence and expensive bureaucracy. If you agree that those in control of local water assets should be democratically accountable to you, now is the time to say so. Jordan’s done a great job this week holding LGNZ to account for their outrageous arrogance to ban dissenting voices like you and me. Apparently their ‘future of local democracy’ doesn't have room for us! What better example of how much these so-called ‘leaders’ think about us ratepayers who pay their bills? But we are relying on you to do your bit. Please click here to make a submission. Thank you for your support. Peter Williams @ Taxpayers' Union ps. The Government tried to “screw the scrum” by taking the extraordinary step of blocking emailed submissions. That’s why we are printing every submission made using our submission tool and delivering them to Parliament later today. Sent on my iPhone.
