We’re proud to support the new executive order that President Biden and Vice President Harris announced this month in support of abortion care services. This order sets the ground work for the Department of Health and Human Services to strengthen the rights of providers who perform abortions in the case of medical emergencies, no matter which state they’re in, and it is going to save countless lives across the country.
This is a critical step to protecting reproductive health care services as Republicans continue their horrifying attacks on bodily freedom, health care, and our basic constitutional rights.
Dem AGs are working in tandem with state, local, and federal government officials to make sure that the right to an abortion is protected in as many states as possible. We need to elect more Dem AGs in November and ensure that we have abortion advocates in office who will protect our health next year.
