Less than 24 hours remain in this year’s Big Give Christmas Challenge but we still have £5,950 left to raise! Can you help us ensure that this year’s project can go ahead in 2020?

Meet Meron When the time came for Meron to leave one of the safe houses run by Womankind partner Association for Women's Sanctuary and Development (AWSAD), she was worried she would slip back into the cycle of poverty and homelessness she had experienced before.
Thankfully, through her involvement in the group for ex-residents, she received practical support with housing and employment but also friendship and solidarity as she embarked on her new life.
Through the Rebuilding Lives After Violence project, we want to ensure that all women preparing to leave an AWSAD safe house will have access to the vital support system of an ex-residents group.
In addition, our partner AWSAD advises them on finding subsidised housing, on getting an ID card so they can work and receive healthcare, and on earning an living in order to live independently.
We're so close to being able to launch this life-changing project in 2020. We cannot thank you enough.
