We are the next group of Democracy Summer fellows and we’re so glad to be here! You’ve heard from the other 6 fellows and now you get to hear from us. We’re Gavin, Mark, and Alison and we’re excited to share some of the highlights of our experience as Democracy Summer fellows.

There are not enough exclamation points to describe how fun this fellowship has been and how much we have learned!! Below, we’ve pulled some especially impactful takeaways from our experience as Democracy Summer fellows.

As members of the younger generation beginning our journey in politics and doing our best to learn to be good citizens, we’re grateful to be on Team Scanlon! Mary Gay is the real deal and goes to bat for her constituents in PA-05 every day. In addition, everyone on Team Scanlon gives their all to support the work that needs to be done. This all makes us so proud!
