John, Did you know that in the last year alone, the number of young people who reported using e-cigarettes increased by 1.5 million? BREATHE LA is taking every opportunity to provide smoking and vaping prevention programs to put a STOP to youth tobacco use. We asked community educators and students, what can be done to end the vaping epidemic in their school? This is what they had to say: FULL VIDEO HERE Claudia, a high school student in Los Angeles shared that, "Students must find a supportive adult to keep them motivated toward their passions. It's important to have a positive influence to prevent students from vaping." Jimmy, a high school student in Alhambra said, "I think to address the vaping issue, we need to focus on changing the laws that makes it easy to obtain these devices within local stores." Help BREATHE LA continue to provide vital programs that educate parents and empower, encourage, and engage more young people across Southern California to resist peer pressure to vape. I pledge my support to END youth tobacco use! Thank you for your commitment to helping BREATHE LA reach more students with educational prevention programs across the region. With Heartfelt Thanks, Marc Carrel President & CEO P.S. Your gift today will be matched every dollar until midnight on December 31st to empower students like Claudia and Jimmy to say NO to vaping and lead healthier lives. ‌ ‌ ‌ Breathe California of Los Angeles County | 5858 Wilshire Blvd. Suite 300, Los Angeles, CA 90036 Unsubscribe [email protected] Update Profile | About Constant Contact Sent by [email protected] in collaboration with Try email marketing for free today!
