It’s official, folks! Yesterday, I qualified as a candidate for the United States Senate in Louisiana.

I wanted to pause for a brief moment to just say thank you.

I really mean it.

Thank you for your support, and for being a part of our people-powered movement in Louisiana. Running a campaign like ours isn’t easy and it is not cheap. But thousands of supporters in our state and across the country have stepped up to help us fight back against Senator Kennedy.

Everyday supporters like you who’ve chipped in just $5 or $30 to emails like this one are the driving force behind this campaign. I don’t take a cent of Corporate PAC money.

I jumped into this race because I love my country. I don’t want to see another January 6th attack on our democracy, and I am sick of the same old, business-as-usual attitude in Washington.

Your support proves that we both agree on the same thing: it’s time for Kennedy’s time in the U.S. Senate to end.
