My name is Steve Roberts, and I'm running for Missouri's 1st Congressional District. I'm sure you have come across my ads or seen my name in the press, but before I personally ask for your support on Election Day or a donation, [[link removed]] I want to take the time to express to you why I am running for U.S. Congress.

I have seen the crises our country deals with but that must end now. Passing laws that benefit those in St. Louis is not only my mission, but it aligns with my dedication to improving the community.
After studying and receiving my degree in law, I served in my community as a prosecutor for the City of St. Louis. I held a position in the Missouri House of Representatives for two terms and was sworn into the 5th Senatorial District on January 6, 2021.
Some of my accomplishments include securing $1.2 Million to Protect Students from Dangerous Lead Fencing and $5 Million for grant funding for Missouri's refugee resettlement programs. These are just a few of the many laws I've worked on towards our road to change.
Electing me into office will allow me to show you that if we continue to work together we can make a difference.
As a St. Louis native highly involved in my community, I strive to ensure that all St. Louisians have equal opportunities to make a decent living.
I want to continue to bridge the gap between our surrounding neighborhoods. I believe having a leader in office who cares about passing laws to uplift and make a change is crucial.
The past few weeks of this election have been overwhelming, but our team will continue to fight until the end.
