Right now, there’s a huge spotlight on Jamie to see if we have what it takes to go toe-to-toe with the big money propping up our opponent. We overcame being outspent in the primary – but lightning rarely strikes twice, and this race is rated as a toss-up (and the most likely to flip Republican in the entire state). I’m proud to be a part of Jamie’s campaign because she puts people first. She refuses to take money from Big Pharma or fossil fuel PACs because she answers to the working families of Oregon – not to wealthy outside interests and extremist donors trying to buy this seat for a Republican.
But that means we’re really counting on grassroots supporters to help us keep up with our opponent’s GOP fundraising machine.
