John — we’re less than four months from the General Election, and as predicted, far-right special interests have invented some wild tales about the state of things in Colorado.

These attacks are only going to get nastier as we get closer to Election Day. But fortunately, we have a pretty useful tool for fighting back. And that tool is this: simple facts about what we’ve accomplished together in Colorado. For instance:

- We came together to pass legislation that will send every taxpayer who lives in Colorado a $750 rebate in a few weeks to help folks keep up with rising costs.

- Starting next year, preschool in Colorado will be free for every four-year-old — saving parents with preschoolers will save an average $4,300.

- We were the first state in the country to put a cap on the price of insulin to no more than $100 a month.

- We’re working to save families money every way we can — including making it free to start a business and ending the state tax on seniors’ social security benefits.

I truly believe that these simple facts about my record will prove much more persuasive than the downright silly attacks my opponents come up with — but that only works if we actually get our message out, and that’s where you come in, John.
