The day the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade, Dave Yost rushed to court to implement Ohio’s six-week abortion ban, one of the most extreme laws in the entire country. Yet he still doesn’t fully understand how the law functions.

That's not all. Yost went on national television to question the story of a 10-year-old Ohio rape survivor – claiming her tragic story of child pregnancy was all a hoax. When confronted with the facts, Yost denied any wrongdoing and refused to apologize.

As attorney general, Yost should be looking for justice, not getting in the way of it. An apology is not enough; Dave Yost must resign.

The current anti-abortion law has no exceptions for rape or incest, and it offers harsh felony charges to any physician who might provide services to those like the ten-year-old rape survivor.
